Artefact 1




 For artefact one I have been looking at realistic modelling and texturing, and focusing on it being believable. As part this artefact I wanted to show a few examples of sculpting and texturing, and ask my focus group how they percieve them.






















 
These last couple of images are an modified version of the alien head sculpt, I had some really usefull feedback on polycount forums and adjusted certain aspects of the sculpt to rectyfiy the highlighted areas.

Zbrush Practice

















I have finally found time to create a sculpt in Zbrush, the base model took me 30 minutes in Maya and the high sculpt took between 2 to 3 hours. I used Zbrush uv master in unwrap the three pieces. I then normal mapped and baked them in Maya.
